Dessert and Dancing Frequently Asked Questions

What is the The Frick Fête?
The Frick Fête will be a glittering Gilded-Age-style soiree under the stars on the stunning grounds of The Frick Pittsburgh on June 22, 2024. The sprawling event will activate the entire campus with drinks, art, and lively entertainment.

What is the purpose of the event?
To celebrate the once-in-a-lifetime Vermeer, Monet, Rembrandt: Forging the Frick Collections in Pittsburgh & New York exhibition! This important fundraising event is helping The Frick cover the extensive costs of the exhibition. Your ticket purchase supports free admission days for the community to view the exhibition, $1 entry for EBT card holders, educational programming for all ages, a free-to-all farewell event for the community, and so much more.

What do I get with my dessert and dancing ticket?
Fête Dessert and Dancing tickets cost $75 and include a complimentary cocktail (with additional cash bar available), a dessert buffet, live band, and entertainment. There will be four signature cocktail (and mocktail) bars serving drinks inspired by the art, beer and wine available for purchase and live art.

What time is the event?
The Dessert and Dancing will start at 8pm and end at 10:30pm. Check-in begins at 7:30pm.

What should I wear?
We suggest cocktail attire. Please note that there will be areas of the event that are on grass.

Where do I park?
We are asking that attendees utilize free street parking surrounding the museum. The Frick parking lot will not be open for use.

I heard that there is a dinner portion of the event - how do I get tickets to that?
The dinner has extremely limited availability and there may not be seats currently available. To inquire about current availability, please contact Kathleen McGuire Gaines at kmgaines@thefrickpittsburgh.org.

Will you mail me a ticket?
There will not be printed tickets for the event. Your name will be at registration upon arrival to check in.

Will I get to see the Vermeer, Monet, Rembrandt exhibition during the event?
No, because of the expected number of guests attending the Fête, the Frick Art Museum is not able to accommodate entry for visitors. We hope that you will come see the exhibition another time by reserving your tickets here.
